crafty days

I bough a new coffee container the other day, and I could not get the sticker off it. So What I decided was just to make a little homemade label from what paper I had lying around in the house.  After gluing all the paper on to the glass container, I covered the paper surfaces with matt waterproof varnish, that you really can get in any craft store. Super simple, and just imagine how many things you can label like this.

A have been collecting leafs, that I thought had pretty colours, and then I just put them between some pages in a thick book, and let them be there overnight so they would dry flat, Then I covered them with matt varnish so that the leafs will last longer and not lose its colours. And with a peace of thread I just randomly placed them with tiny pegs, down the tread. Then I wrote small cute messages, to go with the theme : What makes winters cozy.

In this project, I just bough a few magnets at Bargain City and then used some nice paper I had lying around, to glue on top of them, and I also cut a few of them in smaller pieces, and stuck behind a pen, a peg, and a usb stick, Like that they will not be running around hiding somewhere ;)
I decided so make a card for my oldest aunt child, and so I went and bought some pretty paper and just, looked up a waterfall card tutorial on youtube. The waterfall is the little line of different photos, that will move like a waterfall when you pull the paper downwards. For the photos I just printed out some back white photos of my aunt child and made them look like tint Polaroid pictures. Then I added a little ribbon and a tag. For the backside I decided to make a pichock that had the ability for you to move the feathers around.

After making a card for one of my aunt children, I had to make an other one, for the other girl too, and this is just a really simple one, you basically just cut a A4 paper along the longest side about 8 cm in, and then fold it like a little stair, just make sure the step in the front is smaller than the step in the back. Then you glue different elements on the different steps witch will give the card a bit of debt, and it looks pretty. Just something different than the normal cards you see. Hopefully they will be liked!

This isn’t a very glamorous pice of work maybe, but it is a good way of recycling your plastic bottles. I basically didn’t have any pots left, and wanted to plant some oregano herbs, I ended up just cutting off the bottom of a little water bottle, pierce a few holes in the bottom, and fill it with soil. For the bottom, witch collects the leftover water, I used the bottom of a big coke bottle, it works really well, and it cost nothing :)
This is a necklace I made a little while ago, and I it was actually quite simple, This is just clay, that has been shaped and air dried, then painted, varnished and attached to a braided necklace I made out of some scarp thread. Would make excellent personal gifts to someone, and it is so easy to make.

This is all for this time, let me know if your tried any of this out, or if you have eny questions about something, or just even if you want to sag hi :D

see you!
